BRISBANE SOUTH

PRIMARY HEALTH NETWORK

(MAR 2020 - PRESENT)

I began working as the Visual Storyteller for Brisbane South PHN at the end of March 2020, as Australia started working from home due to COVID-19. Stepping into this newly-created role was a steep learning curve that demanded tight deadlines, strong team coordination and flexibility. This was my first role as a solo creative for an organisation.

Year In Review 2020, designed to replace the traditional written annual report.

To date our main focus has been COVID-19. During 2020 we focussed on supporting primary health workers and businesses in our region, as well as targeted campaigns for our culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Aside from responding to COVID-19, a full brand refresh and update was also required. Our brand assets were created by Gilimbaa, a local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander design agency based in Brisbane. We worked together to update the corporate colour palette and I used the assets to create a modern and cohesive style for our brand.

Covid-19 testing campaign collateral (designed to be clear and in line with government messaging).

Posters and flyers were sent out to health services, TAFE's, universities, and businesses

across our region. 400,000 fridge magnets were also distributed to households.

Motion graphics explainer video about Telehealth targeted towards culturally and linguistically diverse community members. The animation has since been shared by other Primary Health Networks, Refugee Health Network Queensland, and additional national not-for-profit health organisations across Australia.
